Rental Terms and Conditions

User Information

Only the person(s) specified in the agreement and the delivery form may drive the rented vehicle. If third parties not stated in the agreement drive the vehicle, no damage coverage will apply in the event of any damage. To increase the number of authorized drivers, you may purchase the “Additional Driver” service from our branches. The additional driver service must be purchased if anyone other than the renter will drive the vehicle. A maximum of 2 additional drivers can be added per vehicle. Rentals can be made within the minimum age and driving license duration requirements defined for each vehicle group. If these requirements cannot be met, you may rent a vehicle within the limits of the “Young Driver” service package by purchasing this package. The Young Driver service package also includes the “QSilver Coverage” service. You can learn the fees for the Additional Driver and Young Driver services from our reservation center and branches.

Age and Driving License Duration Requirements

The minimum age and driving license duration requirements depending on vehicle groups are specified in the table below. Both the renter and the additional driver(s) must meet these requirements. A Turkish ID number must be printed on the driving license. Rental cannot be completed with combined driving licenses issued with the new Turkish ID cards. You must have your driving license with you.

Reservation, Contract, and Amendments

“Pay Now” and “Pay Later” Reservations:
With both “Pay Now” and “Pay Later” reservations, you may change the vehicle group and reservation dates, and add or remove extra products, except for pick-up branch changes. Some changes may result in price differences. If you wish to change the pick-up branch, the existing reservation must be cancelled and a new reservation must be made. Unfortunately, the prices from your previous reservation will not apply to your new reservation.

Early Return:
If the vehicle is returned earlier than the reserved rental period after the rental has started, the price will be recalculated based on the number of days the vehicle was used. If the recalculated amount is lower than the amount collected, the difference will be refunded. If the recalculated amount is higher than the amount collected, no additional charge will be made.

Rental Extension:
If you request to extend the rental period beyond the reserved dates after the rental has started, you must contact QCAR. If QCAR approves the extension, the system will recalculate the price and the additional amount will be charged to the credit card presented at the start of the rental.

No-Show Policy:
If the vehicle is not picked up at the scheduled pick-up time stated in the reservation, the reservation will be marked as No-Show after 2 hours, and no vehicle in any group can be guaranteed. Your No-Show reservation will be cancelled after 4 hours.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
If the reservation is cancelled less than 1 hour before the rental time, a 3-day rental fee and any additionally purchased services and products will be deducted from the reservation amount, and the remaining balance will be refunded to the credit card you provided during the rental process within 10 days. If the rental period is less than 3 days, no refund will be issued.

Payment Terms and Security

The vehicle rental fee, together with the fees for additional products and services and the security deposit amount, is collected in advance at the start of the rental from a single credit card belonging to the renter. Depending on any price differences that may occur at the end of the rental, a charge or refund will be processed on the credit card. The renter must be physically present at our branch, and credit cards belonging to an additional driver or another person are not accepted.

Security Deposit:
In addition to the rental fee, a deposit will be charged or pre-authorized depending on the vehicle group: at least TRY 2,000 for economy group vehicles, at least TRY 2,500 for mid and mid-SUV group vehicles, at least TRY 3,500 for luxury and luxury SUV group vehicles, and at least TRY 4,500 for premium and premium SUV group vehicles. Security deposits are collected from the renter’s personal credit card at the start of the rental. If the vehicle is returned in the same condition as delivered, the full deposit amount will be refunded within a maximum of 10 business days.

Coverages & Additional Products

Our vehicle coverages may vary depending on campaigns and pricing. For information about the fees and limits of additional coverages you may need, you may contact our reservation center or the branch where you will rent the vehicle. In case of damages exceeding the declaration limits of our coverage packages, the full damage amount will be charged to our customers. For damages exceeding the declaration limit, reports other than the mutual agreement report and the accident report will not be accepted. Detailed information about our coverages and coverage packages is as follows.

QSilver Coverage Package:
Eliminates the deductible. In single-vehicle accidents, bodywork repair for a single panel is covered with one declaration up to TRY 8,000. In addition, optional financial liability insurance coverage up to TRY 1,000,000 is provided.

QGold Coverage Package:
Eliminates the deductible. In single-vehicle accidents, bodywork repair for a single panel is covered with one declaration up to TRY 10,000. In addition to bodywork damage, one tire and the windshield are replaced free of charge. Optional financial liability insurance coverage up to TRY 1,000,000 is also provided.

QDiamond Coverage Package:
Eliminates the deductible. In single-vehicle accidents, bodywork repair for a single panel is covered with one declaration up to TRY 15,000. In addition to bodywork damage, one tire, the windshield, and one headlight are replaced free of charge. Optional financial liability insurance coverage up to TRY 1,000,000 is also provided, and it also covers the loss of one vehicle registration document or one license plate.

Tire, Windshield, Headlight:
Covers tire, windshield, or headlight damages separately from bodywork damage and collision incidents, based on one user-signed declaration.

Zero Deductible Coverage:
Eliminates the TRY 30,000 deductible amount.

The products and services you can purchase in addition to your car rental are listed below. You can obtain information about pricing and details from our reservation center and branches.

Baby Seat: A baby seat can be provided subject to availability.

Delivery and Return to Address: (Please contact the branch where you will rent the vehicle for details.)

Young Driver Service: By purchasing this package, you are granted the right to use a higher segment vehicle under the age and license requirements specified during rental. QSilver Coverage is mandatory and included in this package.

Additional Driver Service: Provides vehicle usage rights for one or more drivers in addition to the main driver. It can be purchased separately for each additional driver. Limited to a maximum of 2 additional drivers.

Rental Duration

Our vehicles can be rented on a daily basis for a minimum of 24 hours, and on a monthly basis for 30 days.

In Case of Possible Delays:

If your pick-up or return time coincides with the branch closing time, you must pick up or return the vehicle at that time. The option of up to 2 hours of delay does not apply to rentals with pick-up or return times at branch closing time.

In case of a delay of 2 hours or more, an additional daily rental fee valid for that day will be added to your contract and charged to your credit card.

Fuel

Please return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at the time of pick-up. If the vehicle is returned with missing fuel, the missing fuel cost will be charged along with a service fee of up to 25% of the missing fuel cost.

Vehicle Return

Return to Branch:
If you wish to return the vehicle to a different branch than the one where it was rented, a “One-Way” fee will apply.

The One-Way (DROP) fee also applies within the same city when the vehicle is returned to a different branch than the pick-up branch.

Pick-Up from Address and Delivery to Address:
Our delivery to address and pick-up from address services may vary depending on branch availability. For full details, you may contact the branch where you would like to rent the vehicle.

Mileage Limits by Vehicle Group

For daily rentals, the mileage allowance is 300 km per day, and for rentals of 10 days or more, it is limited to 3,000 km per contract. For monthly rentals, the mileage allowance is limited to 3,000 km. From the moment the mileage limit is reached until the vehicle is returned to QCAR, the renter will be charged an excess mileage fee per kilometer exceeding the limit, which varies depending on the vehicle group. Traffic Fines

Any traffic fines arising from failure to comply with traffic rules (including incorrect toll booth usage on bridges and highways) and related service fees will be charged to the credit card of the renter whose name appears on the agreement.

Important Notices

All rental-related charges are collected from the renter’s personal credit card. Bank cards, virtual cards, and debit cards are not accepted.

Foreign nationals who will rent a vehicle must have an International Driving Permit.

In the event of any damage, in order for your insurance to remain valid, you must report the incident to the emergency assistance hotline, notify the Traffic Police or Gendarmerie without moving the vehicle from the accident scene, and obtain both a Police Report and an Alcohol Report. In material-damage traffic accidents, if the parties involved agree on how the accident occurred, a Material Damage Accident Report may also be prepared.

In the event of vehicle theft, the police must be contacted and a Theft Report must be obtained. The vehicle key must be delivered to us together with the report.

In case of an accident, theft, breakdown, tire puncture, or any emergency assistance need, you may call our “Emergency Assistance” hotline at 0850 757 3100, available 24/7 across Türkiye.

International Travel:
None of our insurance coverages are valid outside the borders of Türkiye, and taking our vehicles outside Türkiye is strictly prohibited. Please check your delivery form and agreement.

Your car rental reservation is confirmed based on the vehicle group, and no specific brand and/or model guarantee is provided.

The renter agrees and undertakes to pay all losses and damages, including mechanical and electrical damages, arising due to user error and/or negligence, carelessness, lack of precaution, etc. (including but not limited to transmission failures caused by improper gear shifting, damages resulting from continued use despite warning lights being on, damages caused by hitting the underside of the vehicle, damage to parts such as tires and rims, fuel-related malfunctions and damages, etc.). All such losses and damages, including mechanical and electrical damages, are excluded from comprehensive insurance and coverage.

The winter tire option is offered as an additional product and is a paid service. Winter tire availability may vary by region and branch and is limited to stock. You must contact the branch where you will rent the vehicle to confirm availability.

For all groups, in order for your reservation to be finalized and for you to pick up your vehicle, your financial analysis must meet QCAR’s rental criteria. Based on the total limits and debt information of your credit, credit cards, overdraft accounts, and similar products across all banks, whether such credit products are open/closed, and your past payment performance, an evaluation may also be made regardless of the financial analysis. In this case, security deposit amounts may vary.
