Purpose and Scope of the Information Notice
As QCAR VEHICLE RENTAL AND MOBILITY SERVICES JOINT STOCK COMPANY, we take measures to protect your personal data within the scope of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter referred to as “KVKK” or the “Law”). We process your personal data as the “data controller” in accordance with KVKK and the relevant legislation, for the reasons and by the methods explained below.
This Information Notice on the Processing of Personal Data by QCAR VEHICLE RENTAL AND MOBILITY SERVICES JOINT STOCK COMPANY has been prepared in accordance with Article 10 of KVKK titled “The Data Controller’s Obligation to Inform,” in order to provide you with transparent information regarding the identity of the data controller, the method and legal basis for collecting your personal data, the purposes for which such data will be processed, to whom and for what purposes it may be transferred, the data processing period, and your rights listed under Article 11 of KVKK. The explanations provided in this information notice regarding “Your Personal Data” also cover your “Special Categories of Personal Data.”

Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically, through automated or non-automated methods, via the Company’s affiliated units, website, social media platforms, call center, mobile applications, software used within the Company to carry out business activities, and through camera recordings. Your personal data may be processed by being created and updated as long as your relationship with the Company continues, and may be stored in both digital and physical environments.
Your personal data may be processed and transferred for the purposes set out in the second section below, within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698.

Your personal data is processed securely in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, either due to legal obligations or in order to provide more appropriate services within the Company’s business operations.
Within this scope, the following personal data is collected:
Contact Data: Data that may be used to contact the individual (phone number, address, email).
Identity Data: Data containing information related to the individual’s identity (name and surname, Turkish ID number, mother’s name, father’s name, place of birth, date of birth, gender, tax number, social security number, nationality data, employee card).
Financial Data: Data containing the individual’s financial information (bank account number, IBAN, card details, bank name, financial profile, mail order form, credit score).
Company Data: Sole proprietorship data (company address).
Signature Data: Data containing the individual’s signature information (wet signature, e-signature, signature photocopy/scan).
Physical Premises Security: Security camera recording data of areas where the individual is present (camera recordings).
Legal Transaction Data: This data category refers to data such as information in correspondence with judicial authorities and information in case files.
Your collected personal data will be processed for the purposes of:
Enabling the relevant business units to carry out necessary activities so that real and/or legal third parties (employees, visitors, suppliers, business partners, etc.) who have a relationship with the Company can benefit from the products and services of our Company and/or our affiliated centers and units,
Ensuring the safety of life and property, as well as legal and commercial security of real and/or legal third parties, institutions, and organizations located in areas where the Company’s business is conducted or within the Company’s affiliated centers and units,
Storing camera footage and ensuring discipline, security, and supervision in case you are physically present at areas where the Company’s business is conducted or within the Company’s affiliated centers and units,
Fulfilling existing and/or potential legal and regulatory requirements arising from all relevant laws and secondary regulations, including the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098, Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, Tax Procedure Law No. 213, the Regulation on Archive Services, and taking necessary measures within this scope,
Carrying out inspection and/or regulatory duties performed by authorized public institutions and organizations and professional organizations with public institution status,
Fulfilling requests for information and documents from judicial authorities and/or administrative bodies,
Conducting listing, reporting, verification, and analysis studies regarding the use of products and services offered across our Company and all affiliated centers and units, producing statistical and scientific information, improving our products and services accordingly, increasing satisfaction related to our products and services, and making user-specific customizations within this scope,
Conducting market research, promotions, and necessary communications regarding our products and services, evaluating complaints and suggestions, and contacting you directly through communication channels shared with the Company,
Planning and managing the financing of all services provided and issuing invoices,
Taking all necessary technical and administrative measures for systems and applications within the scope of data security,
within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698.
Recipients and Purposes of Transfer of Your Processed Personal Data
In accordance with KVKK and relevant legislation, by ensuring that all necessary technical and administrative measures are taken to provide an adequate level of security, your personal data may be transferred for the purposes stated above to:
Individuals/institutions and/or organizations permitted under the provisions of other relevant legislation,
Private insurance companies, banks, funds, and foundations,
Lawyers or law partnerships for the purpose of following up legal matters,

Data Processing and Retention Period
Your personal data will be processed, limited to the purposes specified in this Information Notice, in compliance with the data processing and statute of limitation periods set out in all relevant laws and other legal regulations to which our Company and its affiliated centers and units are subject. In case of any amendment to the data processing periods in the legislation, the newly determined periods shall apply.
In accordance with the principle of purpose limitation, your personal data is processed for the period required to fulfill the purposes explained in this Information Notice and, in any case, limited to the period required by Company practices and commercial customs. Data subjects whose personal data is processed may submit their requests regarding their rights specified in this information notice to QCAR free of charge by completing and signing the Application Form, together with information and documents that will enable identification, using the methods specified below or other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. In order for the application listed above to be accepted as a valid application, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, the application must include the following information regarding the data subject;

For citizens of the Republic of Türkiye, Turkish ID number; for foreigners, nationality, passport number, or ID number if available,

We collect your personal data, as detailed above, during your car rental request in order to provide the service and, within the scope of rental activities, while preparing commercial offers as well as printed and electronic forms, through various methods—whether fully or partially automated, or non-automated as part of any data recording system—provided that such collection is carried out verbally, in writing, or electronically.
How Is the Security of Personal Data Ensured?
QCAR places great importance on protecting the confidentiality and security of Personal Data. Within this scope, the necessary technical and administrative security measures are taken to protect Personal Data against unauthorized access, damage, loss, or disclosure. Accordingly, the required system controls, data access controls, secure transfer controls, business continuity controls, and other necessary corporate controls are implemented.
Do we transfer your personal data to third parties and/or abroad?
As QCAR, we undertake that your personal data will be securely stored, will not be processed unlawfully, and will not be transferred abroad.
In the presence of the legal grounds stated above, we may also transfer your personal data domestically to our business partners with whom we cooperate and/or from whom we receive services, official authorities including the Ministry of Interior and general law enforcement agencies, supervisory and regulatory public institutions and organizations, and business partners whose services we benefit from, including lawyers.
What is the procedure for Data Subject applications?

You may submit your requests regarding your personal data to our Company by completing the application form available on our website and sending it in writing to the address specified in the final section via hand delivery, mail, courier, or notary, or by using a secure electronic signature and mobile signature via our registered electronic mail (KEP) address, or via the email address you have previously provided to us and which is registered in our system, by applying through info@qcar.com.tr.
QCAR will finalize the requests submitted to it free of charge as soon as possible and no later than thirty days, depending on the nature of the request. If fulfilling your request results in any cost, we may request from you only the fees set forth in the tariff determined by the Board. The application form is available on the Company’s shared platform and can be accessed at any time.
As a result of the requests submitted to QCAR, we may accept the request or reject it by explaining the reason, and communicate this response to the applicant in writing or electronically. If the request is accepted, QCAR is obliged to fulfill the request without delay.
